Mary Khan ('17 journalism and mass communication, international studies) is the 2017 recipient of the Hugh S. Sidey Scholarship in Print Journalism. Her winning essay, "Make Journalism Great Again," reflected on the Iowa State alumnus's career covering the American presidency and the challenges journalists face today.
